Culcheth Eagles (H) - Sunday 18th March
The Eagles are due to land at the Pavilion this Sunday to take on Hindley U10's who are looking to extend their unbeaten run to three games in 2012.
Following on from the victory over Ashton Bears last Sunday, Hindley are back on home soil for an extra early kick off (just what the Mums want on Mother's Day!)
Hindley welcome back Reece Cassidy into an otherwise unchanged squad and also returning are the coaching team following their quiet weekend away..... ;o)
The lads have begun to work on their ball handling in training and while some errors were occurring, the plan is to allow the team to understand that the most basic of skills are often the most important and making mistakes whilst practicing is absolutely fine as long as they learn and develop.
The focus in Saturday's session will be upon defence as well as patterns of play with a view to ensuring that the team is well prepared for a Culcheth side that appears to have improved a great deal since we last met in September 2011. The Eagles last outing was a closely fought contest with Blackbrook Royals where a spirited display wasn't quite enough to overcome their St Helens-based opponents.
Squad
Scott Aspey
Connor Bishop
Sam Bowery
David Bullough
Danny Carroll
Reece Cassidy
Connor Davies-Aspey
Connell Essex-Collier
Jak Kellet
Harry McRoberts
Tom Peters
Joe Sumner
Josh Whittle
Owen Whittle
Andrew Wilkinson
