The highly regarded Halton side are this week's visitors as Hindley hope to continue their fine form against another of the top teams in the U10's age group.

This week's training sessions have been completed sooner than normal due to the Wigan-St Helens Challenge Cup tie on Saturday and a lot of work has been done on defence and attacking patterns.

The lads showed a great work ethic on Tuesday night as they 'ripped in' with their defensive work while on Friday the set patterns were practised extensively with a view to seeing the hard work come to fruition on Sunday lunchtime.

Halton are a very well drilled outfit and are sure to pose a big test for the Black & Golds but the lads have risen to every challenge so far in 2012 and they are keen to do so again.

With a full strength squad to choose from the game should be a great spectacle and we can only hope for some fine weather to ensure that both teams are able to show their skills.

Following the victory against Leigh Miners Rangers last time out, Hindley will be keen to put on another good display on home turf.
