Hindley aim to maintain good form back on home turf

Orrell St James are the visitors to the Pavilion this Sunday as Hindley, on the back of a great win at Folly Lane, look to extend their unbeaten run to 5 matches in 2012.

The two sides meet for the first time since March 2010 when, as Under 8's, Hindley won an 18-try thriller by 40 points to 32 with tries from Connor Davies-Aspey (4), Joe Sumner (4) and Sam Bowery (2).

It's fairly safe to say that defensive technique and structures have improved since that day for both sides so spectators can expect to see a great contest.

Orrell have recovered the past couple of weeks, having lost their opening two fixtures, by beating Blackbrook Blues and Culcheth Eagles so they have put together a small winning run of their own that they're sure to want to keep hold of.

Hindley are this week without Harry McRoberts who is busy on a Meditarranean cruise (it's alright for some, eh?!) and are still awaiting the arrival of Ben Parry's registration card. Ben has been improving week-on-week during training and we hope to have him available for selection in the very near future.
