This Saturdays game see’s “THE TIGERS” play at home for the first time this week against Desborough Town in the UCL, following “THE TIGERS” 5.0 win against Harrowby on Tuesday night.

Town are having a good season so far, currently 4th, with nineteen points from eight games and come into Saturday’s game having not lost in any competition since 20th August in the FA cup and not lost in the league since 13th August, against Yaxley 3-1, so they will be looking to continue that form, currently they have won six, drawn one and lost one and sit two points behind “THE TIGERS” with a game in hand.

Both teams won in midweek, to keep the pressure on at the top of the table and both will be looking for three points to continue both teams good form.

Last season fixture ended with “THE TIGERS” winning 3.1 on 30th October 2015 after being 1.1 at half time. Desborough finished last season in 15th place, so they will be hoping for better this season.

A win for “THE TIGERS” could cement them in second at the top of the table of which is a very big month for Holbeach, with currently eight games to be played in October, depending on cup competitions.

Holbeach United then face Yaxley in the UCL Premier league on Wednesday 5th October, kick off 19.45hours.
