On Saturday 16 August (KO: 3.00pm) Holbeach United will travel to Diss Town in the Extra Preliminary Round of the FA Cup – with the winner banking £1,500.00 in prize money.

Assuming the lads are successful on their travels, there looms the potential of a Lincolnshire derby in the Preliminary Round, with the Tigers having been drawn at home to either UCL Premier Division rivals Boston Town or Walsham Le Willows. The Preliminary Round fixtures are set to take place on Saturday 30th August (KO: 3.00pm), with the winner banking a further £1,925.00.

Should the Tigers emerge from the first two rounds of the FA Cup with the majority of their teeth & claws intact, EvoStik NPL Premier Division outfit King’s Lynn Town await them in the First Qualifying Round - exciting stuff, indeed!

The FA Vase meanwhile has served up something of a local-derby clash, with the charges of joint chiefs Graham Drury/John Chand having been drawn at home to UCL Division One outfit Blackstones on Saturday 14th October (KO: 3.00pm).

Whoever wins that encounter will pocket a very handy £800.00...
