It was a case of two points dropped for the Tigers at the weekend.

A moment of madness cost them all three points, as they had to settle for a share of the spoils in a tough league match.

There were a few chances on both sides, but Will Bird put Holbeach ahead when he headed home a sublime Mitch Griffiths cross in the 11th minute.

Holbeach held onto the lead until deep into the second half. The visitors were getting closer to an equaliser, putting Holbeach under pressure when Sanders was judged to stamp on a Rothwell players in the box on 81 minutes.

The off the ball incident resulted in a penalty because the ball was in play at the time and a straight red for Sanders.

It was a good penalty that settled the game.
