Holbeach came out winners in this game played in terrible conditions for both teams, with a wind and rain in their faces the tigers tried to play football and had various chances in the 1st half, Compton and Steadman both had chances before the latter scored from a tight angle. Oakham equalised just before half-time. With the wind at the backs the tigers took an early lead 2nd half Joe Millinson the scorer, this seemed to spur Oakham on as they pilled on the pressure , they soon equalised and then an unfortunate own goal saw them take the lead, with 15 minutes remaining Jonny Allen equalised with a trademark header. With 5 minutes left Collishaw fed Bailey out on the right and his cross was slotted home by the reliable Steadman in front of goal, to give the tigers the points.
