Match Preview - Buxton FC vs Holbrook Sports - 05/12/17 Derbyshire Senior Cup 3rd Rnd.

The Brookies face an exciting, if not a little daunting, trip to the Silverlands Stadium to face Evo-stik Premier side Buxton FC.

Holbrook were awarded a bye in the first round of the Senior Cup and then went through against Swanwick Pentrich Road in round 2 but only after a penalty shoot-out.

Buxton FC start their DSC campaign in round three in a competition they have previously won on 10 occasions, the most recently in 2012.

Neither sides have had the best of results since the start of November but Buxton will obviously start as firm favourites due to being 3 leagues above in the National League Pyramid. But it is the cup!! Brookies have already pulled off a big cup upset with beating Heanor Town in the FA Vase earlier in the year.

Put your winter woolies on and come and support the Brookies in what should be a memorable occasion for the the club.
