New signings
NEW FACES AT THE WOOD
With the Season almost upon us Manager Fred Hardicre while away on hollidays in spain has been negotiating with agents and has secured the services of a number of new faces down at the wood. The club are pleased to welcome three exciting talents up front in Reuben Areu whose brother fabio represented england under 18's last year and has just been signed on a 3 year deal with Portuguess side mauritmo as well as Callum Gardner who appeared in the Nike Promo advert and actually had the cheek to nutmeg Rooney Search Rooney Nutmegs on You Tube. Also Mat Simpson a 6ft 3 2" forward with a superb touch who also is not scared to put himslef about a bit.
The Midfield has also bee bolstered with the introduction of ex New Mills Man Ryan Roddy, and Portguess starlets Edmundo and Osvaldo and ex Oldham town winger Jay Kato.
The wood defence has also been strenghtened with the introduction of defenders Mark Stringer and Mark roland both different types of players who are sure to be a hit.
Lastly but certainly not least an exciting Keeper has put pen to paper after serious negotaitions in Mark Simms.
