It was a difficult day on the field for the Holmes Chapel 7s team, unfortunately losing out in their pool matches, although they did run some of their opponents very close and they can take a lot of heart from their performances, especially as this was only their second outing and they were up against some very good teams.

The vets team gave their all and despite finishing bottom of their pool played some good rugby as they rolled back the years, once again the amount of effort was matched by the amount of deep heat and just for men.

Due to a reduction in numbers Chapel (AKA The Ancients) found themselves straight into the plate final and although losing to the Sandbach A team found themselves with runners up medals!!
