HOLMESDALE host basement side Lewisham Borough at Oakley Road on Saturday, looking for a first league win since the two sides met in early September. Since then the hosts have played 5 league games which have resulted in 3 defeats and 2 draws.
Last weekend’s 3-1 defeat at home to Lydd Town leaves the dalers in 11th place but a win against strugglers Lewisham Borough will push Holmesdale back into the top 10 with games in hand against clubs further up the table.
Scoring has been an issue of late for Holmesdale so the return of Anthony Fenech into the squad is a much needed boost for the dalers and club captain Dan Palfrey returns to the squad after serving a one match suspension last week. Goalkeeper Alfie George is available after returning from injury and Adriano Lawson, Deji Adeuson and Charlie Weedon all return to the squad.
GK Coach Ross Mitchell and player Gary Stock will take charge of the team for this game as manager Ian Varley is away on FA County Youth Cup duty.
Admission: Adults £7, Concessions £4
Live match updates will be available via the clubs twitter page.
