Boxing Day at the club bring boots all will get a game!
All are welcome to come down to either watch or play in the Boxing day fun match at the club and enjoy a post Chritmas drink. Ko 11ish...read more
Everyone is welcome to come down for the club's annual boxing day game and festivities.
Things kick off with a fun match that starts at 11ish...it's really not a serious game. It's Couties 15 v Ollie Riceys 15 and all standards are welcome even if you've never played before or if it was a while ago...(Stopper is playing if that give you an idea). If you've got guests staying bring them down I'm sure we can find them some kit and boots. There is as always drinks at half time. Teams will be finalised on the morning, if you are there you can play.
The winning team gets presented with the Boxing day cup but it's usually a draw and the cup gets filled up with something horribble and gets shared around.
After the game it's to the bar for drinks, nibbles and the grand raffle and a chance to show of your new smellies and jumpers..it's a very friendly atmoshere all the family are more than welcome and in the afternoon Stopper will entertain all with an attempt to play the guitar to songs you all know well.... If you recognise them that is!
