Honley High Netball

Year 7 Honley Netball Team successfully overcame Holmfirth, Huddersfield Grammar and King James in order to top their group and proceed into the knockout stages of Huddersfield Year 7's Netball tournament. Honley were required to play against Scissett in the semi-finals who finished runners up in the other group. Honley overcame Scissett by netting 12 where Scissett failed to score. This semi-final success allowed Honley to compete in the final against Kirburton Middle school who they had previously drawn with and share the top of the league with. Honley netted 4 in the first half with Kirburton failing to score. The second half proved to be dominated by Kirburton possession but they failed to score, thereby Honley won the tournament 4:0.
