Hooky registered their first Home win of the season beating bottom of the table Trowbridge Town 3-0.

1st Half
The visitors went behind as early as the 2nd minute Dean Coles turning James Robbins cross into his own net.

Hooky doubled their lead after 29 minutes Jonny Da Silva rising highest in the box to powerfully head in a James Robbins corner.

The visitors then had the better of the remaining 16 minutes of the half and should have pulled a goal back on 44 minutes when Hooky keeper Ramos Pereira miss hit his clearance straight to Ashley Palmer who shot wide from 20 yards with the goal wide open

Half Time 2-0

2nd Half
A pretty even second half saw very few goalscoring opportunities at either end, Hooky's Man of the Match Jamie Wyatt going closest for Hooky, and Trowbridge's Emileo Menghani having the best opportunity for the visitors but shot just wide of the upright from 18 yards.

On 80 minutes, the best move of the match led to Hooky's third goal. Jason Tillcock broke clear of the visitors back four and crossed from the bye line for Neal Hobday to lay the ball into Danny Poole's path who calmly slotted the ball into the bottom right hand corner of the net from the edge of the penalty area.

A good three points and well deserved for “The Brewery Boys”.
