Hope Valley 1sts and Hawks fixtures announced
Fixtures for 2012-13 season announced along with new Head Coach announcement
The fixture list for 2012-13 season has just been announced with the 1st's facing a home tie with Winnington Park whilst the Hawks face a trip to Littleborough.
Along with the fixture announcement, Hope Valley RFC are pleased to announce the appointment of Richard Spencer as the club's Rugby Union section Head Coach. Richard is currently completing his level 3 coaching award and is looking forward to bringing some innovative ideas to training for the 2012-13 season.
Club chairman Steve Richardson was delighted to announce Richard's appointment: "After the first open application process ever run by the club it was clear that Richard was the leading applicant and best person for the role.
We were greatly impressed with his commitment to focus on the basic core skills of rugby as well as his innovative ideas such as video analysis. Richard's appointment should assist both the 1st and Hawks Rugby Union teams progress up their respective leagues."
Rugby Union training starts at Castleton playing fields on Thursday 19 July 2012. More details to follow.
