Houghton go into this weekend's cup game against Chester le street with a few unwelcome section headaches. After a heavy defeat against North Shields which actually seen the side come away with some needed pride. The injury list has kept on growing for the club. Evaldas Gurskis is missing in the frontrow, with Richy Walsh and Chris Watson in the secondrow. Newton Turton, Glen Atkinson and Craig Hicks are all out of the backrow. With long term injury Darren Witte still out and now joined by Marc Willey. Houghton have the luxury of a strong second team side this season and will allow players from the Boars side to step up and be seen by the coaches.
