Houghton welcome Blyth to diary lane for the final league home game of the 2017/18 season. Blyth are one of only three clubs to defeat Houghton this season. Although the defeats put a dent in the promotion challenge, all three sides were playing in the higher league last season. The coaching staff helped regroup after each game and the players have moved on and gained valuable experience from the defeats. Houghton will be looking to return the favour in the home leg, with the weather set to break allowing the home side produce some excellent rugby.
