Huddersfield YMCA RUFC Development Plan
This Huddersfield YMCA RUFC Development Plan has been compiled by drawing from the development opportunities raised by club members during the Development Plan Workshop held on the 11th March 2012.
The plan has been created in conjunction with our ‘Mission Statement’ which aims to uphold the following:
· To help fulfil the potential of members
· To give respect to and gain the respect of, those we meet both on and off the field
· To become a centre of excellence for the sport of Rugby Union
The Development Plan function is to help ensure Huddersfield YMCA RUFC is a successful and sustainable club while retaining amateur status. This document has prioritised the most important areas that we need to concentrate on and will point us in the correct direction to achieve this ‘Vision’. This document will be reviewed frequently to ensure targets are achieved or adjusted. The Development Plan will also contribute to the RUFC Seal of Approval known as ‘Club Accreditation’.
Please read the Plan thoroughly and if you can assist any of the nominated members in achieving our aims by the target dates set, please volunteer your services.

Can i add something about pitches. Can the afea behind the top pitch also be utilised for a practice/junior pitch also?
There are some discussions going on about that patch of land. Ill bring it up at the committee meeting
