Hull Dockers started their season with a hard fought home match against Cottingham Tigers, Both teams showed a massive amount of skill, some great defence and huge heart during the game and should be very proud of themselves from numbers 1 to 9. Both teams have put themselves in good stead for the rest of the season and will be a serious threat to any team with their solid defence and strong running.

Dockers Man of the match went to Alex Marshall, he was a constant threat to the Cottingham defence and bagged two well worked tries, he followed this up with some top quality defence and was well worth the first man of the match of the season.
