Hull Wyke 'B' v Hull Dockers
This game was against the hosts Hull Wyke a team which matched Dockers in size so Cassy and Steve decided to play a much smaller Dockers side against them. The game started with the ball in Dockers possession and it wasn't long before Dockers put points on the board as Delaney Richardson took a big run into Wyke's defence and with some good handing off slipped his way into the corner to score the opening try. Wyke tried to come back with some good running but Dockers defence was to strong as they had just played a much bigger side. The ball work that the Dockers team were producing by Harry Cass, Shay Adkins and Nathan Teal was outstanding with moves been pulled off left right and centre. It wasn't long before Shay Adkins and Harry Cass was up to their old tricks to send Harry on his way as he smashed through Wyke's defence on Dockers own try line and scored a full length of the pitch try with excellent handing off and stepping techniques. Wyke again kept trying to come back with something promising but to no avail as Dockers were to much for them. Nathan Teal took a good off load and shot off down the wing to score an excellent super league try. Again Wyke came back at Dockers but with Morgan Cutsforth playing his first game back from injury was eager to keep them away and some nice ball work from Brooklyn Mandlasses set up by Ethan Stephenson as he cut across field to a gap he'd spotted and went in in the corner 4 - 0 half time.
Second half it looked as though Wyke's heads had gone down but still they tried hard to pierce their way through Dockers defence. Then out of the blue Morgan Cutsforth on his first run of the game side stepped and twisted his way through Wyke from the half way line and scored centre of the pitch. Two minutes later Harry Cass scored his second of the game followed by Ellis Bywood picking up moves off his team mates ploughed one in in the corner, by this time Wyke looked like they had had enough and must have felt like they wanted the whistle to go but it wasn't long before Alfie Schulz powered his way through to make the final score 8 - 0 to Dockers the man of the match Shay Adkins.
