The third match of the season brings Otley RUFC to BP. They are one of the oldest clubs in Yorkshire ( and therefore, obviously, England and the rest of the world). Their Cross Green ground famously hosted the match, in 1979, when the North defeated the mighty All Blacks.
Little has changed since and the club has yo-yoed between level 3 & 4 of the English leagues during the professional era."Alumni" of the club include former and present England scrum-halves Nigel Melville and Danny Care.
Not an easy place to get to by boat, Pat may need the river Wharfe to be in full spate.
