U14's win Hull & District U15 league
Well done to the squad and coaches.
Congratulations go to our U14 team who secured the Hull & District league title today with an emphatic 36-16 victory at Cottingham Tigers.
It's a fitting end to a long hard season, were they had to match up with teams who were a year older and the physical difference that challenge brought, as well as some very tough encounters against usual rivals who had all strengthened their squads this season.
The way this team has progressed year upon year, whilst retaining its core values and skills and building upon the squad but keeping a tight bond is a credit to the club and everyone who has played their part on and off the pitch and we hope this will be the first of many trophies for Hull Wyke.
Well done to head coach Ian Lawson, Karl Hutchinson and team captain Ryan Dearing for guiding the team to the title.
