The former Reading academy, Wantage Town and Cirencester Town player had been training with Bath City all pre-season after ending last season with United`s league rivals North Leigh, but things didn`t work out for him with the Blue Square Bet South outfit.
Bourne said: “One of my lads that new him said he was available and I didn`t hesitate getting in contact.
“Having spoken to the lad, he really just wants to play football, and I'm in a position to give him that chance. Everything was really all agreed in a few days which was great for all of us with the season only a week away - Damian has quality, and I've no doubt he`s going to be a big player for us this season.”
