Hereford United's advisor Joel Nathan says he won't be making any further announcements on the financial side of things.

Nathan, who has been absent from Edgar Street this week, says he has come to the club to help with the footballing matters.

Last week, Nathan commented that football creditors would be paid by today.

But he said this morning: "I can assure the creditors they will be paid and steps are being taken to achieve this through a CVA arrangement.

"But I won't be commenting on the finances of the club any more and I can't make any comments on the leases because I have not been involved in that area."

Nathan said he wasn't able to comment on fans' speculation that new manager Jon Taylor has close family ties with a property firm.

Nathan, who is the chief executive officer at Ryman League Premier Division club Grays Athletic, has not yet agreed to take up a permanent role at Edgar Street.

"There was talk about me joining the club this week but until everything is satisfied and I am confident with it, I will just be helping."
