Puritans Continue To Overhaul Squad With Eight Signings

Another eight players to have signed for Southern League Premier Division outfit Banbury United this coming season.

Marcus Green is a 24-year-old midfielder who impressed in the reserve side early last season to earn a place in the first-team squad throughout the second half of the campaign. He previously played for Tooting & Mitcham United.

Saleem Masri is a 19-year-old midfielder who has previously played for Thamesmead Town and North Greenford United.

Another midfielder, Anthony Obeng, played for Southern Division One Central sides North Greenford United and Uxbridge prior to joining Banbury in the summer of 2013.

Josh Hill is a 19-year-old goalkeeper who had a two-year scholarship at Oxford United, prior to being released at the end of last season.

23-year-old defender Mishari Al Ashban, who normally plays at right-back, played for Bromley last season and also had a loan spell with Cray Wanderers.

Darius Browne is an 18-year-old left-sided midfielder who has been with Oxford United and the Coventry City academy. He also played for Easington Sports last season.

Jean Dakouri, a 23-year-old French born midfielder, was with Long Buckby and Coventry United last season.

Finally, 16-year-old Connor Goddard has signed senior forms having spent time with Peterborough United.
