A string of former Hereford United players have added their support to the Hereford United Fans Team that is currently playing an 'alternative fixture list' whilst an official boycott of Edgar Street is undertaken by angry fans of the Southern League Premier Division club.

Eight former Bulls have already confirmed that they will be available for the forthcoming Hereford Supporters Team game against Worcester City XI to be played at Malvern Town on Sunday 3rd August.

Wayne Brown, Alex Jeannin, Tony James, Steve Guinan, David Titterton, John Snape, Rob Purdie and Scott Goodwin have all agreed to turn out.

A manager and a few more former players will hopefully be announced in the coming days.

The Supporters Team attracted a crowd of over 650 for a recent game against Ledbury Town, with an even bigger gate expected for the match against Worcester City.
