Re-joined the club in March 2010 after a short spell at Eastleigh. Matt was previously at Portsmouth, Oxford United, and Oxford City and was voted into 2016’s southern League team of the year by the NLP.Matt is every attackers nightmare as he has the same type of insight as John Terry and equally as awesome in the air.
It is his ability to read a game or a sequence of play that lends him to being at the right place at the right time and then his technique to use either foot in tackles, skilful chips or long distance diagonals.
Matt and Jon Boardman are like fish and chips although competition for the Centre Half shirt is always evident.
