Hunslet Old Boys A.R.L.F.C

November has been a pretty successful month for Hunslet Old Boys!

On the field, its been a month of cup games, firstly beating Drighlington in the quarter final of the Yorkshire cup, Ackworth then in Pennine Presidents round one cup tie. Then on Saturday 26th a BIG win against Sharlston Rovers in the Yorkshire cup semi final that sees the Old Boys attend the white rose showpiece for the second time within three years.

Off the field, the Old Boys took part in the ever growing 'Movember' fundraising. A charity for mens health, the growing of the moustache across the globe to raise funds for the great cause.

The Old Boys players collecting in sponsors of their own, before the big 'shave off' night on the 26th which included raffle and auction to also raise funds.

The money raised on the night was split 50/50 between the charity and the Old Boys and saw us raise a respectable £900.

The total sum however will not be exactly know until the end of Movember, but with an estimate of over £2000 all together you can safely say that Hunslet Old Boys have done there part and had a very successful month
