14*s BOW OUT WITH PRIDE
The under 14*s were narrowly beaten in the 2nd Rd of the BARLA National cup Sun 22nd January.
They were beaten 16-14 by Dewsbury Moor.
Leading at half time by a single kick the Warriors determined efforts were cancelled out by a strong Moor defence as they played down towards the clubhouse in the second half.
The match was decided with a dubious penalty awarded to Moor with three mins to go for a suspected ball steal.
Moor scored to edge in front.
Following the restart the Warriors had one final fling edging to within 10 metres from the try line.
THEN, the whistle went for full time.
Credit to Paul and the Dewsbury Moor lads.
We wish them well for the next Rd where they host Widnes Moorfields.
Maz and the boys can now continue to recruit and set their stall out for the new season.
