On the 19th August the club is holding a bring a friend day.
The plan is for each of our Junior players (U12 to U17) persuade a friend to come along with them for a structured training session with the senior 1st XV coaching team.
This is a preseason event so there will be no contact so to those people who have friends that maybe put off by this as an initial element this will be a gentle way to come along to the club, learn some basic skills, get an introduction to the ethos of a rugby club and hopefully come along again once the season starts proper.
The U16s will be manning a BBQ, drinks will be served and the bar will be open so bring along their parents too if you can.
We will be starting the session at 10:30 running for approximately 1 ½ hours and then offering burgers from the BBQ at the end of the session.
NEW TO RUGBY, DON'T KNOW ANYONE AT THE CLUB? COME ALONG TOO WE ARE A FRIENDLY BUNCH!!
