With only a week to go to the AGM, we are starting to look for people who can take on the roles within the management committee and can take the club forward. I have had nominations as detailed below but as you can see there are gaps so please, if you are interested or you wish to be nominated, please let me know. These are nominations only and must be agreed by the members of the club at the AGM.
In order for us to be more in line with the structures within SRU, we have a proposal for a change to the structure detailed in the constitution, as highlighted below.
Chairman (proposed to change to President) - nominated - Michael Parkin
Financial Controller (proposed change to Treasurer) - nominated - Pauline Parkin
Director of Rugby - proposed - Steve Parkin
Club Secretary and Membership Secretary (proposed change from 1 role to 2) - nominated - Jane McKenzie for 1 role
Events and Facilities Convenor (proposed change from Social, Events and Communications Convenor) - nominated - James Paxton
Media and Communications Convenor (proposed new role)
Volunteer Co-ordinator (proposed new role)
Within each of the areas there are many more volunteers required who will form sub committees so the more helpers/volunteers the better. Please come along to the Cricket club and support your rugby club. Children are welcome to come along too.
