It a good hard game of rugby Huntly went down 19-10 to a youthful Gordonians 2nd XV at the Market Muir.
With a number of regulars unavailable or starting on the bench to rest knocks Huntly had a few players playing in new positions.
After a sticky start as combinations settled down, the team went on to put in a good shift and got stronger as the match went on.
Points scorers were Callum Whyte with a try and William McPhee with a conversion and a penalty.
