I hope you have all had a great holiday and are all raring to get going again with rugby.
The P1-7 age group will start again this Saturday (25th) down at The Gordon Schools - school pitches. 10 - 11.30am. Please ensure that players are there prompt so training can commence at 10am sharp.
What to wear? - please ensure the players (and parents) are kitted out for the weather. Layers are good and can always be taken off. Hats, waterproof layer etc or sun cream if it is hot. You never know. Rugby boots are also required.
Boot swap - we have a selection of 2nd hand boots of various sizes which can be purchased for a donation or if you have a pair which no longer fit, you can swap them for another pair.
Mouth Guards - Mouth guards are required for the P4-7 age groups and there are some available to purchase on the day. Please allow time before training starts to have the mouth guard moulded.
Water - please take a drink incase the players are hungry but please do not bring snacks to eat during training (unless for a medical reason) as this can cause us concerns for chocking.
SCRUMS - all children U18 should be registered on SCRUMS. This is the SRU database and it is the parent/guardians responsibility to register their child. There is information in the following location on the Huntly RFC website. http://www.pitchero.com/clubs/huntly/d/documents.html?group_id=10937
I will be at training on Saturday so please ask if you are stuck.
Membership - membership fees are now due. Please go to the payment tab on the Huntly RFC homepage and select the relevant membership. Membership should be paid by the end of August, otherwise I will start to chase and your child risks not being able to take part in the Annual Festival on the 15th September. http://www.pitchero.com/clubs/huntly/payments
Thank you for taking the time to read all of the above. If you need help with any of the information, please do not hesitate to get in touch. (email@example.com)
