MANAGERS’ MEETING HELD AT IBIS SPORTS & SOCIAL CLUB, KENDAL TUESDAY 14th FEBRUARY 2012

Bill Fisher, Pete Rushton, Paul Dodds, Mark Cleasby, Bryan Harper, Kevin Tattersall, Don James, Martin Donnelly, Peter Leonard.

Minutes of the previous meeting were proposed by Mark Cleasby, seconded by Paul Dodds and agreed and signed as a true record by the Chairman.


Matters Arising

None.



Chairman’s Report


Bill commented upon a very successful Sportsmans Dinner which had 105 attending and thanked those that made the effort to support the event. Bill also advised the meeting that he was disappointed with the poor attendance for tonight’s meeting.


Secretary’s Report


Peter advised the meeting that the FA are still missing some registration forms. These should be with the FA by 29th February at the latest or we will face a hefty fine for having played unregistered players. Peter to liaise directly with the managers concerned.
Bag Packing at Morrisons set for March, slots to be decided at the next meeting.



Treasurer’s Report

Paul advised that a profit in excess £1000 has been made from the Sportsmans Dinner.


Kent Valley League Representative’s Report

The next Level 1 course is likely to be immediately prior to next season. There will be an Ambassador’s meeting on 29th March to be followed by a County Planning Development meeting. As a Chartered Standard club we are expected to have a strong representation. To be discussed at our March meeting.



Child Welfare Officer’s Report

None

Any Other Business

1 Mark advised that he is still unsure as to what the situation is regarding the Waterboard pitches for next season. To be clarified with Alan prior to the next meeting.

2 Bryan confirmed that information & entry forms for the Jubilee walk on 21st April.

3 Kevin advised the meeting that the Lock Up was in a very untidy state and he was hoping to sort it 25th February.

4 Peter L discussed various ideas regarding the Golf Day, the Presentation Evening and a possible Sportsmans Dinner for early 2013. Peter also mentioned that he still has 2 prints left and these will be raffled off.
