Below is a brief history of the club and a list of the sponsorships options we offer.
The length and price of each sponsorship is negotiable with our commercial managers.
Ibstock United F.C. joined the Leicestershire Senior League Division One in 1986, then known as Ibstock Welfare F.C. In the 1990-91 season, they finished runner-up in the division and were promoted to the Premier Division, where they have remained since. Ibstock Welfare merged with Ibstock Youth in 2005, forming the current version of the club. They currently play in the East Midlands Counties Football League, having joined from the Leicestershire Senior League at the end of the 2007-08 season.
Following the successful progression and development of a Junior/youth structure in Ibstock and the recognition that the Ibstock Welfare senior side was one of the best in the county it was decided that both organisations should have a more pro-active approach to developing football within the community
The aim of the two organisations is to establish a structured, professional and fun approach to football in the community of Ibstock. Together with this desire is to provide footballers of varied ages and sexes with facilities to match both the clubs ambitions and for players to be proud of.
The implementation of regular meetings between the junior and senior side means that all parties are kept abreast of changes and developments.
The short-term goal is to provide a joined up plan of action to tackle development issues and player development through coaching and training. The long-term plan is to create a “UNITED” approach to football development in the community and providing children and adults with a stable framework of volunteers that can assist in their future aspirations and dreams of playing football.
Through committed representatives of both parties, we are confident of creating a well-respected football outlet in the County of Leicestershire. The amalgamation of our resources saw a new football club formed - Ibstock United Football Club. The newly formed club will be operating and developing the following teams.:
U6, U7, U8, U9, U10, U11, U12, U13, U14, U,15, U16, U17, U18, 3 Senior Teams, 1 Veteran Team, U12 Girls, U14 Girls and offering opportunities for boys and girls with disabilities.
Both projects will be managed together - a small steering committee has been established including representatives from the District Council and officials from the clubs.

Pre Match Training Tops with Sponsors name
These tops are used before all home and away games for warming up in. Therefore all spectators see the players in these tops as they arrive at the ground right up until kick-off. They are worn by the subs during the game too.

Club Sweaters
These sweaters are used by all players to travel to the away games in. Therefore these offer a wider range of potential viewers of your advert. These tops can also be bought in the club shop – bought by supporters and spectators of Ibstock United. These tops can be personalised as they are also printed with your initials. The sponsor of these tops will be supplied with 2 for themselves free of charge.

Option 12
Pitch Sponsorship
We have one pitch this season, however we have acquired and prepared land for a second pitch, this is to allow for the greater number of teams we now have in our club. The set-up cost of a football pitch is very high but the running costs soon prove to be even more draining. Every season the pitch must be drained, sanded & seeded and throughout the season it is constantly rolled, mowed, white-lined and repaired.
This option would give the sponsor 2 large, independent boards on there own stands advertising the fact they are the sponsor of the pitch for that season.

This package can include kit sponsorship.
If you would like to sponsor a particular part of the pitch maintenance, e.g. the fuel for the mowers, a deal can be arranged with a commercial manager.
An option to pay for the development of the second pitch would mean a lifetime sponsorship of that pitch; again, if interested, contact one of our commercial managers.
Advertising and Sponsorship Opportunities include:
Shirt Sponsor – Design of your choice on the brand new Nike kit of one of our teams. There is a possibility of 4 team kits available for sponsor. If you would like to sponsor a team in particular make sure your interest is heard at an early stage as this is a popular option.
Ground Advertisement Board – Giving a 10’ x 3’ printed board, designed by you and made and fitted by us, permanently fixed for all games played on our ground
Match Day Programme Adverts – A minimum of 20 full colour programmes, professionally printed for all home league games. Sizes vary for a cost that meets your needs. This is full colour and designed to your specification. The entire advert can be designed by you, or part designed and we can do everything just from a letterhead or business card. This applies to all Match Day programme sponsorships.
All sponsorship options last for one season, thereafter you will be given priority of continuing your support.
Ibstock receives attendances regularly in excess of 500 spectators over a fully programmed week, meaning sponsorship of the club is greatly cost effective from a marketing perspective.
For those people interested and intending to support the club financially payment plans can be tailored to meet the needs and circumstances of all potential sponsors. Above the guideline cost for the sponsorship options last for one season, however for an 18-month or two year deal a revised price can be offered by contacting the commercial managers named below.
Through this sponsorship drive, we are hoping to form a number of new links with both the local and wider business communities. By making these links mutually beneficial can not only provide an excellent advertising opportunity for individuals and businesses but for those businesses developing their corporate social responsibility profiles the sponsorship can also provide an effective vehicle for giving something back to, and supporting the local community.
