Ilford FC welcome Steve Marshall to the Club as they look to to st up a Youth Section under the watchful eye of Youth Development Officer Paul Belcher.

Steve is bringing nine players that won the Chelmsford League Division 1 with Dagenham United. They were invincible in the league with a record of Pl 18, W 16, D 2, L 0, conceeding just 8 goals along the way.

Steve has already recruited four players but is under no illusions about next season. "It will be tough next season, we have recruited well but the teams in our league are very strong. We are still looking for players especially a left footed Centre Back or Left Back."

In his role as YDO Paul has made contact with all the P.E Departments in Redbridge. "We would like to work closely with our Schools in the Borough and hope to have local boys playing for the Club."
