The club have successfully secured funding from Derbyshire County Council to go towards the purchase of several new sets of badly needed Post Protectors.

With the support of County Councillors Michelle Booth, John Frudd and Glennice Birkin we recently submitted an application to the scheme for funding and the grant is another indication of how valued the club is across the local community.

Support and financial aid such as this is invaluable and we are very grateful to the Councillors and the Council for their generosity.

The Councillors are often present at 1st XV home games at one of our pre-match luncheons so they are clearly keen supporters of the club…if you see them be sure to say thank you.
