More rugby one offer this Bank holiday weekend 2nd - 4th May

Following the disappointment of the late withdrawal of Glossop from facing our 1st XV in the Derbyshire Cup Final, there's still plenty of rugby on offer. A revised schedule for the finals day has been issued and our 2nd XV face Chesterfield 2nd XV in their final at 1:00pm at Chesterfield RFC, who are hosting the finals day on Bank holiday Monday 4th May. The last time we won the Derbyshire 2nd XV cup was back in 1988, so come along and support our lads.

Also we have 6 Elks playing for the NLD as they get their County Championship underway against Warwickshire at Mansfield RFC on Saturday 2nd May, 2:30pm. Dan Hyams, Jake Lamb, Adam Corcoran, Alex Ayres, Mathew McGuire and Chris Tipton are all set to start after strong showings in last weeks friendly warm up game at Moderns RFC.

So that's your Bank holiday weekend sorted - come along and support the lads!

The planned Gareth Lewis Memorial weekend has now been moved to August to avoid conflicts with the Charity coast to coast bike ride in Gareth's and Kit Taylor's memory and in support of the RFU Injured Players Foundation.
