Some unfortunate people in this world are unable to enjoy themselves. One such person was Mark from Ilkeston.

It was only with the help of social events organised by those fun loving individuals at Ilkeston RUFC that Mark was able to finally express his inner joy.

We all like to have fun don't we? Do you want to do something that is satisfying and of great service to your club? Then become a volunteer on the Ilkeston RUFC Social Committee!

We are currently looking for a volunteer from each junior/mini age group and the senior section to help plan interesting and enjoyable social events for the club. The only qualification required is your desire to help and the ability to enjoy a party!. All you need to do to help the club is attend a monthly meeting from August to May along with over 10 other volunteers.

Some of the committees roles will include:
Developing a social events calendar
Brainstorm fundraising ideas
Help the Club Manager with event organisation
Help Club Manager with marketing of events.
