In the 1st XI's opening match of the season against Alwoodley, Alex Ledger (pictured above) and James Whiteley set a new record third wicket partnership for the club's 1st XI.
Tasmanian Whiteley (92) and Ledger (85*) came together with the score at 17 for 2, and put on 162 runs until Whiteley was caught out at square leg.
This partnership surpassed the previous record for the third wicket set 30 years ago on 11th August 1984. That partnership was between Keith Smith (105) and David Atkinson (71*) against Skipton, also at home, which was worth 147.
