The start of the season is fast approaching so we need everyone's help to get the ground and facilities in shape.

The combination of Easter Holiday dates and the Senior tour to Perranporth means that this year our CricketForce Day has had to be brought forward to the last Saturday in March.

Therefore Saturday 29th March is the day when we need as many players, parents and supporters to spend a couple of hours washing, scrubing, brushing and lifting so that the ground and pavilion is all ready for Open Night the following Friday 4th April.

This year there are no "major" jobs that need doing, so it should simply be a case of moving benches, erecting nets/sightscreens/covers and giving the pavilion a thorough spring clean. Depending on the weather between now and then, there may be some work to be done on the square and outfield as well.

Anyone able to help is asked to meet at the club at 10am. A pasty lunch will be provided at 1pm by which time the majority of jobs should have been completed.

If you are able to bring "useful" equipment with you - pressure washers; ladders; toolkits; cleaning products - then we should be very grateful.

Remember the old saying - many hands make light work!
