Sorry Slackers thrashed by Horses
It's Past Our Bedtime went down to a 10-4 thumping to the Horses at Braywick. That gives them a mountain to climb in their bid to overtake rivals Moor Rangers points tally at the end of last season.
Nonetheless it was a worthy effort considering they were without star players Nacim and Charlie. Goals came from brother of Charlie, Connor Grant who blasted in 2 long range efforts whilst James Stillman also got a brace with 2 drilled strikes from the edge of the box.
But the Horses continued to dominate as players like Ben Green failed deliver a performance. And that paved the way for a total collapse as edginess crept in and they soon found themselves looking 10 times at the ball rustling in the back of the net. It was a up hill battle for It's Past Our Bedtime right from the kick off, but a 10-4 loss to a very much in-form side is not at all a bad result.
After the game goalkeeper Jack Stemp spoke to the media "It was a really tough game, the wet conditions made the ball zip off the surface making it difficult to save or control the ball, but we now have to look towards next weeks game at the Moor".
The Slackers are now one point behind the amount Moor Rangers gained with seven games left and overtaking them seems like a highly unlikely task.
