Here is the story so far.

So, part one of the season done, part two to look forward too.
1XV are having the most successful season ever and have settled into National League 3 SW. At present sitting 4th in the table but if the rumoured loss of 5 points for Camborne it would move us into 3rd position. I suspect those points will be deducted from Camborne after this coming Saturdays games.

Played 14 games winning 6 at home and four away, a good record. Scoring 383 pts with 321 against with 8 bonus points. Having used just 30 players so far, selection has been pretty much the same week in week out 15 players having played a minimum of 10 games.

Lewis, Jamie and Paul have not been afraid to bring in the younger/fringe players, Mitch Pinkus, Ben Collins, Courtney Richards, Lewis Barnaby, Luke Martell and colt Marcus Prout. It has been good to welcome back Toby Evans and Seb Slade.
Losing Dom Loomes due to injury, George Wilson and Sam Kingscott are also not available this second half.

National League rugby is highly competitive combined with the travelling but hats off to the players, coaches and officials for their commitment.

2XV started the season with a real punch, once again a young side bringing home some high scoring wins, currently sitting 5th in Devon Merit Table 1.
Played 12 games winning 4 at home and 5 away, scoring 397 points and 177 against. Unfortunately, in mid-October they lost their way a bit, perhaps because there were not enough of the more senior players available. We had points deducted for not being able to raise a side to travel to Cullompton.
After a desperate loss to Credition at home 29-32 they bounced back winning the next two against Sidmouth and Devonport.

Colts – once again Pete and Molly took on the work of integrating the players the colts going into their second season and the lads coming up from the U16s.
It has taken a fair bit of hard work by both coaches and the lads but they have come together well.
Finishing the first half of the Colt Merit Table in the top spot for the SW division and moving into the Cup rounds.
In the National Cup, they were knocked out away at Marlow losing 41-12 but are now into the Plate competition having beaten Keynsham 47-5 and Chippenham 29-5 both games at home.
The one thing they must concentrate on now is that there are no easy games in the Devon Colts Cup as they found at Crediton, losing 17-7 in the first of the second-round games.
Both competitions should be equally important and having the idea that well we always have one or the other to fall back on is a NO, NO.

What a second half of the season we all to look forward too.
