Yesterday Jarrovians played just their 3rd game under the guidance of new coach Fred Short against the Newcastle Ravens.

The hard work that has been put into training since his addition is really starting to pay off. Every game there has been positive developments. This showed massively yesterday in both attack and defence.

Defensive drills are starting to hold and are looking more solid. With improved tackling and better line speed.

In attack the fitness and speed are really starting to shine and with the addition of a new dynamic move the future is bright.

Numbers for training are steadily growing again with us having 16 people on Thursday. If you want to help the team grow and develop. You must first develop your own skills and learn the drills and runs that we are doing. If your not there for training then you will be in the dark come Saturday. Fred has stressed this a number of times.

Saturday's game seen a few stand out performances some playing in new positions but the most positive part of Saturday's game was the cohesion within the team. As Fred says we need to be a team not just 15 individuals. With a scoreline of 31-15 against Ravens. We will look to continue this development against Yarm at home next week.

Raffle prize was kindly donated by our friends at Mo-tech.
