Club Groundsman, Paul Neale Rewarded By Sussex F.A

Club Groundsmsan Paul Neale was recently awarded a Sussex County F.A Football Workforce Award in recognition of his dedication to grassroots football at Jarvis Brook.

Paul has dedicated the last twenty five years of his life to local football in many roles both official and unofficial.
His main role is as groundsman, looking after our four pitches.

Paul’s role is however much wider and includes acting as fixtures secretary for the senior teams, sports club and senior club representative, unpaid handyman, unofficial security guard, proud supporter and so on.

Paul gives up many hours of his time to do what he does, and is regarded by the club as simply irreplaceable and a beacon for all that it good about community football.

We are priveliged to have 'Nealer' at our club and are proud that the County F.A have chosen to recognise his contribution.
