After last weeks result where Jed 2nds couldnt raise a front row and lost the points to forresters, but won the game. Jed were looking to continue their winning ways and make it official at the same time.

And thats precisely what happened! Jed showed full on aggression and it wasnt long before we were rewarded with our first try of the day from the some good hitting up rugby finished off by Jack Fraser. player comment: "Try was unreal and that i got the inside centre back for sitting me down!" Another couple of trys came our way to keep us in the lead.

2nd half was worrying to begin with, in the first 10mins haddington near enough leveled the points up through excellent attack and poor tackling/defense on our part. But soon it was put right when Jed started striking back again and players FINALLY taking heed to tackle big men low to take them down.

To say winning in this fashion was excellent is an understatement. Players NEED to make sure they are at training on a Thursday night at least to try and turn our fortunes round going forward.

Injuries were sustained by Keir Waddell who suffered a speed wobble and hurt his ankle, but did later return to the pitch. Dean McGovern got a sore head a few times and Martin Chisholm was cryin to be sent off for being knackered!

Try scorers were Jack Fraser, Callum Liddle, Ryan Miller (twice) and James Rowley (twice). 4 conversions kicked by Martin Chisholm.

Player Of The Day is awarded to James Rowley who had an outstanding performance throughout the game. Altho we'd love to keep him, the lad should be starting for the 1sts playing like he did. Same could be said for a few other keyplayers aswell. Also special mention to Callum Liddle for how well he played.

Dick Of The Day....this was awarded in the 2nd half of the game because we were quite sure it couldnt be topped. Haddington made a clearance kick from inside their half. Fraser Mortimer made the catch just inside our half, and shouted, "MARK!" However it should be said that not 60seconds later a try was scored so it may have been deliberate tactics on his part.

LVP is shared by Chris Page and Darren Armstrong. 2s winning in his absence gave this to Chris, and Darren curling up on the ground as the bald haddington player tried to kill him for 'nothing' as he claims. Martin Chisholm also gets a mention for being dummied by a Prop Forward.

Any details missed, please let me know and ill update the match report, altho i had plenty time to watch the game while on pitch, it difficult remembering particulars.
