Player of the Month - September 2012
The Player of the Month is a JLSFC award that recognises the best Club player each month of the season. The recipient is chosen by the Club's Board of Directors as well as Coaches, and announced on the first Friday of the following month.
Forward Elijah Ema has been named Youth Player of the Month while goalkeeper Prince Monyan was selected as Senior Player of the Month for September.
Both players have been outstanding in league games with their respective teams during the month.
Ema has been in great form in the Philadelphia Sierra Soccer League where he scored three goals in four league games to take the Juniors into first place in September.
Monyan, on the other hand, has been impressive in goal and he has been one of the reasons why the Senior Team continues its unbeaten run in the Philadelphia Sierra Soccer League. In addition to his countless saves, Monyan has two clean sheets and only conceded two goals in four league games.
