Albion travelled over to Halifax to take on Kings Cross Park.The game started well for Albion with some strong tackling from the forwards forcing and early handling mistake from Kings Cross. From the resulting scrum Albion forced their way over the Kings Cross try line with a fine run from Ollie McCann,only to be held up. The next play saw Albion move the ball across the pitch with some quick hands to see Jamie Hodgson
touch down,Alfie Seeley
missed the kick.
From the restart Alfie passed the ball to Jamie Hodgson
who sprinted full length of the pitch to score, the extras were added Albion led 10-0.
Keighley were dominating the game the next score came from Ben Benfield
with a strong run from 20m,Seeley added the extras.
Albion started to put on some well worked moves but the hosts were next to score to cut the lead 16-4.
The forwards were controlling the game for Keighley with Olek Pala
making an excellent break to score out wide,the kick was missed.
The second half started with some good defending from Man of the Match Tom
Fawcett, who caught everything that was kicked to him.
Kings Cross were the next to score.From the restart Kings Cross knocked on giving Albion possesion with Olek Pala
making another strong run to touch down again for his second try, Seeley kicked the extras. Albion stepped up another gear and from a good flowing move Brodie Hudson
scored out wide the kick was missed.
This was the last score of the game before a Kings Cross Player suffered a bad injury and the game was abandoned.
