In ever deteriorating conditions Ilkley performed the better to score three tries without response from Keighley.

Keighley continued to experiment with new players and various combinations in the forwards and backs to develop the team structure.
Keighley fought hard, but were held out by Ilkley despite persistently threatening Ilkley’s try line.
Connor Holmes, Bill Todd, Sam Cubitt fought tenaciously in the Rucks and Mauls, with some excellent tackling by Henry Pratt, McKenzie Kirkland, Jonny Tanner and Ryan Vero.
Matthew Toner, Bradley Priestley and Bill Cubitt competed well and showed some promise despite the poor conditions, but Ilkley were too strong on this occasion.
