Under the RFU 'Transforming Social Spaces' programme KRUFC's Main Function Room has been refurbished. It is available for private hire. Details below

The Clubhouse transformation has taken place over the last 4 months. The final phase was completed this week with the installation of 7 uPVC double glazed windows overlooking the 1st XV pitch.
The main function room has been redecorated and the bench upholstery and chairs upgraded with new a fabric to complement the pale green curtains and paintwork. New wall lights have been fitted to give a more modern finish to the transformation.
The bar area has also received a modern face lift with painted brickwork and decorative panels.
For functions, new large round tables have replaced the old wooden ones.
The renovation of the foyer area will be the final phase to take place shortly.
The transformation has been made possible by grant funding from the RFU under their "Transforming Social Spaces" programme being promoted to enhance rugby club interiors ahead of the Rugby World Cup starting in Sep/Oct 2015.
The Social Spaces programme will offer grants of up to £7,500 for projects that transform club social spaces with the aim of restoring rugby clubs to the heart of their local communities. This is the first time that the RFU has offered grants for social facilities.
